Outrighted to Triple-A Sanchez (elbow) was outrighted to Triple-A Nashville on Thursday, Adam McCalvy of MLB.com reports.
Impact Sanchez missed the second half of the 2022 season due to an elbow injury, and it's not yet clear whether he's expected to be available for spring training in 2023. Regardless, he'll lose his spot on the Brewers' 40-man roster early in the offseason.
OCTOBER 27, 2022 • ROTOWIRE
Moved to 60-day IL Sanchez (elbow) was transferred to the 60-day injured list Monday, Adam McCalvy of MLB.com reports.
Impact Sanchez suffered a setback while on a rehab assignment with Triple-A Nashville, and it's unclear when he will be ready to return. As such, the Brewers decided to move him to the lengthier of the two available injured lists to free up a spot on their 40-man roster.
AUGUST 1, 2022 • ROTOWIRE
Suffers setback in recovery Sanchez (elbow) suffered a setback at his rehab assignment with Triple-A Nashville, Todd Rosiak of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.
Impact Sanchez returned to the Brewers' facilities after suffering the setback and will head out to Phoenix later this weekend. Manager Craig Counsell said that the reliever is "back to Square 1". There is currently no timetable for Sanchez's return.

Starts rehab stint Sanchez (elbow) reported to Triple-A Nashville on Friday for a rehab assignment.
Impact The right-hander landed on the injured list June 25 with UCL discomfort, but an MRI quickly revealed he's not dealing with a serious injury. Sanchez will now head out on a rehab assignment, and he should be ready to rejoin the Brewers after the All-Star break.
JULY 16, 2022 • ROTOWIRE
Positive results from MRI Sanchez (elbow) received the results of his MRI which showed nothing overly serious, Todd Rosiak of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.
Impact Sanchez will still remain away from the team while on the 15-day injured list, but the positive results bode well for his chances to return relatively close to the minimum stay on the IL. He is expected to take a short break before resuming throwing, putting his potential return around mid-July.
JUNE 25, 2022 • ROTOWIRE
Dealing with UCL discomfort Sanchez was placed on the 15-day injured list Saturday with UCL discomfort in his right elbow.
Impact Sanchez presumably had the discomfort surface after his last outing Tuesday, when he allowed a run on two hits with one strikeout and one walk over 1.2 innings. The severity of the injury remains unclear, but any UCL injury is a major concern due to the potential for Tommy John surgery.
JUNE 25, 2022 • ROTOWIRE
Snags first hold Sanchez recorded two outs, including one strikeout, and picked up his first hold of the season in Friday's victory over the Reds.
Impact Sanchez replaced starter Eric Lauer with one out in the bottom of the seventh inning, and he retired the only two batters he faced to maintain a one-run lead. Sanchez was tagged for four earned runs in an appearance against the Nationals earlier this month, but he has allowed just one earned run over his other nine relief appearances this season.
JUNE 18, 2022 • ROTOWIRE
Recalled by Milwaukee Sanchez was recalled from Triple-A Nashville on Saturday.
Impact Sanchez was sent down by the Brewers on Thursday, but he'll quickly rejoin the major-league bullpen after Luis Perdomo (elbow) was placed on the 15-day injured list. Sanchez made a relief appearance for Milwaukee on Monday and allowed a hit and two walks while failing to strike out a batter in two-thirds of a scoreless inning.
MAY 28, 2022 • ROTOWIRE
Optioned to Triple-A Sanchez was optioned to Triple-A Nashville on Thursday.
Impact The 28-year-old was recalled by the Brewers to begin the week, and he allowed an unearned run on a hit and two walks in two-thirds of an inning to take the loss in Monday's game against the Padres. Sanchez will head back to Nashville after Josh Hader (personal) was reinstated from the bereavement list Thursday.
MAY 26, 2022 • ROTOWIRE
Called up from Nashville Sanchez was recalled by the Brewers on Monday.
Impact Miguel recorded an unremarkable 4.15 ERA and 1.58 ERA in 26 innings of relief as a rookie last year. He owns a much better 2.12 ERA and 0.94 WHIP in 17 frames for Triple-A Nashville this season, but he'll likely be stuck in a low-leverage role until he proves himself at the highest level.
MAY 23, 2022 • ROTOWIRE
Reports to minors The Brewers optioned Sanchez to Triple-A Nashville on Monday.
Impact Sanchez reached the majors for the first time in his age-27 season in 2021, producing a 4.15 ERA and 1.58 WHIP in 26 innings out of the Milwaukee bullpen. Though he'll miss out on a spot on the Brewers' Opening Day roster, his status as a player on the 40-man roster could make him one of the top options for a promotion if Milwaukee needs an extra relief arm at any point.
APRIL 4, 2022 • ROTOWIRE
Sent to minors Sanchez was optioned to Triple-A Nashville on Friday.
Impact Sanchez spent nearly a week with the major-league club but made just one relief appearance during that time. The right-hander was charged with the loss against the Cardinals on Thursday when he allowed two runs on two hits and a walk in one inning, and he'll now head back to the minors after right-hander Hunter Strickland (personal) was reinstated from the paternity list.

SEPTEMBER 21, 2021 • ROTOWIRE
Returns to majors Sanchez was recalled from Triple-A Nashville on Saturday.
Impact Sanchez and fellow righty Jandel Gustave will provide reinforcements to a Milwaukee bullpen that was taxed in relief of Freddy Peralta on Friday. Before his control completely left him near the middle of August, Sanchez was quietly pitching well for the Brewers, posting a 3.05 ERA, 1.26 WHIP and 18:7 K:BB in his first 21 appearances.
SEPTEMBER 4, 2021 • ROTOWIRE
Optioned to minors The Brewers optioned Sanchez to Triple-A Nashville on Sunday.
Impact Sanchez gets demoted after walking six batters and allowing four runs in his last 1.2 innings of relief. The righty has a 4.29 ERA in 2021 and has enjoyed stretches of success, so a return to Milwaukee before the regular season ends is not out of the question.
