Scratched for dental procedure Sano's removal from the lineup for Friday's game against Atlanta was due to a dental procedure, Do-Hyoung Park of MLB.com reports.

Impact Sano may miss a day or two worth of at-bats, but his absence shouldn't meaningfully affect his preseason preparation. That said, he could probably use as many swings as possible to get his timing down, as he's hit .167/.286/.292 with a 46.4 percent strikeout rate through 10 spring games.
