Progressing well Clevinger (elbow) has been throwing on flat ground from 75 to 90 feet and remains on track to return by the start of next season, per MLB.com. Impact Clevinger is now 10 months removed from Tommy John surgery and has reached a point where he is able to throw "at a pretty good level of intensity," according to Padres manager Jayce Tingler. The right-hander will have a rotation spot waiting for him next season, and the expectation is that he'll be ready to go from the start of the campaign.
