DL Hall - Returned to Nashville The Brewers returned Hall to Triple-A Nashville after Friday's doubleheader versus the Reds, Curt Hogg of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.

Impact Hall turned in what was by far his best start of the year during Friday's nightcap, making it through seven innings without allowing a run and tallying five strikeouts. He'll now head back to the minors, though there's a decent chance the 25-year-old southpaw returns to Milwaukee to boost its pitching depth once rosters expand Sunday.

Garrett Mitchell - Fills box score in nightcap Mitchell went 2-for-4 with a solo home run, a triple, a stolen base and three total runs scored in a 14-0 win over the Reds in the second game of Friday's doubleheader.

Impact After going 16 games without a homer while going just 7-for-44 (.159), Mitchell now has six hits and two long balls in his last three contests. The 25-year-old outfielder is now slashing .269/.362/.446 with four homers, 21 runs scored, 12 RBI and six stolen bases across 149 plate appearances this year.

DL Hall - Blanks Reds in first win Hall (1-1) earned the win Friday against Cincinnati in the second game of a doubleheader, allowing four hits and a walk over seven scoreless innings. He struck out five.

Impact Hall was excellent in just his second big-league start since April, blanking the Reds over seven innings to earn his first win with Milwaukee. In two spot starts this month, Hall's allowed just one earned run while racking up 14 strikeouts over 11.2 innings. Overall, the left-hander sports a 4.82 ERA on the season with a 1.75 WHIP and 27:14 K:BB across 28 innings. While Hall figures to head back to Triple-A, he figures to be the first man up should the Brewers need rotation help down the stretch.

Impact Chourio created quite a scare when he injured the ankle as he attempted to beat out an infield single in the fifth inning. Chourio will receive treatment and have some tests just to be safe, but it sounds like he should be fine. Sal Frelick, Blake Perkins and Garrett Mitchell will form the Brewers' outfield trio in the nightcap as they try to sweep the doubleheader.

Jake Bauers - Absent from lineup in first game Bauers is not in the lineup for the first game of Friday's doubleheader against the Reds.

Impact It's the second straight time he's been out of the lineup against a righty (and third time overall) after he had started each of the previous three contests versus right-handers. Bauers could be back in there for the nightcap, but in the afternoon game the Brewers will go with Rhys Hoskins at first base and Gary Sanchez in the designated hitter spot.
