Christian Yelich - Hitting streak reaches six games Yelich went 2-for-4 with a pair of doubles, a walk and an RBI in Tuesday's 7-6 win over the Twins.

Impact The 2018 National League MVP has picked up hits in each of his last six starts, good for his third-longest streak of the season. Unfortunately, Yelich is also striking out at an elevated 34.5 percent clip during that span, and none of his four extra-base hits (three doubles, one triple) were home runs. Though Yelich hasn't been a total disaster for fantasy purposes this season due largely to his 13 stolen bases, he's far off from reaching the immense power production and exceptional batting averages that made him a first-round value during his first two seasons in Milwaukee.

Hunter Renfroe - Leaves yard again Renfroe went 1-for-4 with a three-run home run and a walk in the Brewers' 7-6 win over the Twins on Tuesday.

Impact Renfroe saw his three-game home-run streak come to an end in Monday's 2-0 loss to the Rockies, but it didn't take the 30-year-old to start up a new streak. He's now up to 17 home runs on the season, trailing Willy Adames (20) and Rowdy Tellez (18) for the team lead. Renfroe will be back in action for Wednesday's series finale, batting fifth while manning right field.

Kolten Wong - Continues to hit Wong went 2-for-4 with a home run, two runs and a walk in Tuesday's victory over the Twins.

Impact Wong went through a 3-for-27 (.111) slump to close out the first half, but he has come out of the break hot, going 8-for-18 (.444) over five games. Wong owns a woeful .391 OPS against southpaws this season, but he has been handling righties, posting an .802 OPS against pitchers who throw with that hand.

Impact Boxberger allowed a hit and walked a batter, but he also struck out two batters, and when it was all said and done he prevented anyone from crossing home plate. Boxberger has struggled a bit of late, allowing five earned runs (7.11 ERA) and posting a 2.37 WHIP in 6.1 innings over his last seven appearances, but he remains the top option ahead of setup man Devin Williams and closer Josh Hader.

Impact Davis walked in the second and singled and stole second in the fourth. In the eighth inning, with two on and one out, Victor Caratini pinch-hit for Davis against Jhoan Duran. Davis is 8-for-24 with four walks and four stolen bases in his last 11 games (nine starts) and has a .365 OBP since joining Milwaukee in mid-June. While he has only one extra-base hit on the season, he's found ways to contribute by reaching base and swiping seven bags while manning center field most days.

Impact Small was recalled from Triple-A Nashville to start Tuesday's game and struggled in his return to the majors. Byron Buxton welcomed him back by launching a solo shot to lead off the game and the Twins added two more runs in the third. Only 33 of his 63 pitches went for strikes and he has now walked eight batters in 6.1 innings across his two big-league starts. With two off days over the next week, the Brewers might not need Small to make another start any time soon and he could return to Nashville shortly.

Tyler Black - Out for season Black was diagnosed with a fractured left scapula Tuesday and will miss the rest of the 2022 season, Curt Hogg of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.

Impact Black suffered the injury July 10 while making a diving attempt in the field, and it will bring his campaign with High-A Wisconsin to an early end. The 22-year-old isn't expected to require surgery and could be available to play in the fall and/or winter leagues. He'll finish the year with a .281/.406/.424 slash line, four home runs, 35 RBI and 13 stolen bases in 64 games for the Timber Rattlers.
