Impact Yelich's two hits were both singles, including one that knocked in a run in the ninth inning. He also had an RBI on a fielder's choice in the fifth in a productive contest. The outfielder has looked more like himself in June, batting .324 (22-for-68) across his last 17 contests. For the season, he's slashing .245/.336/.381 with seven home runs, 11 stolen bases, 26 RBI, 44 runs scored, 11 doubles and two triples through 304 plate appearances.

Tyrone Taylor - Swats another homer Taylor went 2-for-3 with a solo home run, an additional run scored and a walk in Friday's 9-4 loss to the Blue Jays.
Impact Taylor has five hits in his last five games, but three of those knocks have left the yard as the outfielder has rediscovered his power swing. He went deep in the seventh inning of Friday's contest, though it was too late to make an impact. Adrian Houser - Yields five runs in loss Houser (4-8) allowed five runs on nine hits and a walk with three strikeouts in six innings, taking the loss Friday versus the Blue Jays.
Impact It's the fifth time in his last six starts that Houser's allowed at least three runs. The Blue Jays did all their damage against him in the second inning, with a three-run Matt Chapman double accounting for most of it. Houser saw his ERA rise to 4.50 with a 1.45 WHIP and 57:30 K:BB across 74 innings in 14 starts. The right-hander's had a rather mediocre season so far, but he may have some streaming appeal in next week's projected road start versus the Pirates.

Hunter Renfroe - Dealing with calf injury Renfroe has been held out of the lineup the past two games due to a calf injury, Todd Rosiak of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.
Impact The specifics of the issue remain unclear, but he apparently suffered the injury while going 1-for-4 with a double during Wednesday's matchup with the Cardinals. It should become clearer Saturday whether or not Renfroe will require a trip to the injured list.

Impact Wong suffered a setback with his strained right calf last weekend, but it apparently wasn't major issue as he's now been cleared for game action. The 31-year-old has been sidelined by the injury since June 7, so he should be ready to reinstated from the injured list sometime next week after appearing in a few games in the minors.

Impact Gonzalez made his Brewers debut as a starter Tuesday against the Cardinals and allowed three runs on four hits and a walk while striking out two in four innings to take the loss. He'll make at least one more turn through the rotation, but it's possible that he shifts to the bullpen following Sunday's start since Brandon Woodruff (hand) will return to action next week.

Impact There's a lot to like about the well-rounded profile Black brings to the table. While he most likely isn't a future star, he does a little bit of everything and as a hitter is reminiscent of David Fletcher, just without the defensive ability to play shortstop. The question for Black as he rises through the organization will be whether he can hit for enough power to be a starting second baseman in the big leagues. For what it's worth, the Brewers have also given him some exposure at third base and in center field, but he doesn't really have the arm to be effective at either of those spots.

Impact Adames hit one of two Milwaukee homers in the contest, slugging a solo shot off Dakota Hudson in the fifth inning. The shortstop has gone deep five times in his past 11 games and has notched 11 RBI over that span. He is tied with Corey Seager for the league lead in homers among shortstops with 15 on the season.
