Impact Ashby issued a walk before giving up a two-run homer with no outs in the bottom of the fifth inning, and he exited the game with a trainer after forcing a groundout to record the first out of the inning. The nature and severity of his injury aren't yet clear, but any potential absence would be a significant blow to the Brewers' rotation since Brandon Woodruff (hand) and Freddy Peralta (lat) are on the injured list.

Impact Adames did most of his damage in the fifth inning. He opened the frame with a single, scored on a bases-loaded walk by Victor Caratini, and then added a two-run single in his second trip to the plate. With five hits -- including three for extra bases -- in his last three games, Adames is starting to show up on offense more. Impact Houser made a mess of things right away, allowing hits to four of the first five batters he faced while also uncorking a wild pitch in a three-run first inning for New York. He wasn't all that bad from there, but regardless Houser has now dropped five straight decisions.
