Josh Hader - Blows save, suffers loss Hader (0-1) got the loss Tuesday after he blew a save, allowing two runs on two hits while striking out two versus the Phillies.
Impact Hader was called upon to protect a 2-1 lead in the top of the ninth, but he surrendered a game-tying solo homer to Alec Bohm to open the frame. He later gave up another solo shot to Matt Vierling with one out in the frame. The blown save was his first of the season and the earned runs were his first allowed since last July. Ultimately, even the best players have off days and Hader will rebound just fine from this difficult appearance. His 18 saves on the campaign are tied with Taylor Rogers for the most in the league and he owns a microscopic 0.96 ERA and 0.64 WHIP with 30 strikeouts over 18.2 innings this season.

Jason Alexander - Tosses five innings versus Phillies Alexander pitched five innings, allowing one run on seven hits and two walks while striking out one in the loss to the Phillies on Tuesday. He did not factor into the decision.
Impact Alexander surrendered a sacrifice fly to Bryce Harper in the top of the third inning, accounting for the only run against him Tuesday. He has now pitched 12 innings over his first two career starts, giving up just three runs combined. With Brandon Woodruff (ankle) expected to return soon, Alexander may not get another turn in the rotation before returning to Triple-A Nashville, but he has certainly earned more opportunities down the line.

Impact Wong went 0-for-1 before being replaced in the field for the top of the fourth inning. The 31-year-old missed one game last week after being hit by a pitch in the right calf, and it appears he's still having some issues in that area.

Impact It was previously reported Adames was poised to be reinstated for Tuesday's series opener versus the Phillies, but manager Craig Counsell said the team wants to give the shortstop an extra day to make sure he's fully healthy. The 27-year-old also indicated he feels 100 percent healthy, so it appears the delayed activation is simply a precautionary move from the Brewers.

Trevor Gott - Placed on 15-day injured list Gott was placed on the 15-day injured list with a right groin strain Tuesday, retroactive to June 6.
Impact Gott dealt with a quad issue in early May, and he'll now be forced to spend time on the injured list due to a groin strain. It's not yet clear how much time the right-hander is expected to miss, but Tuesday's move made room on the active roster for Hunter Renfroe, who was reinstated from the 10-day injured list. Gott posted a 9.00 ERA and 1.60 WHIP in five innings over his last five outings.

Alex Hall - Back at High-A Hall was outrighted to High-A Wisconsin on Sunday.
Impact Hall was surprisingly called up from the High-A level on Thursday, but that may have just been a result of the Brewers wanting to bring up a catcher from the minors that was playing at an affiliate close in proximity to Milwaukee after Omar Narvaez (illness) was placed on the COVID-19-related injured list. Alex Jackson was able to arrive in Milwaukee from Triple-A Nashville on Friday, so Hall was ultimately moved off the 40-man roster without playing in a game for the big club. As expected, he wasn't claimed off waivers, so the 23-year-old will stay in the organization and head back to Wisconsin.
