Devin Williams - Escapes self-inflicted jam Williams tossed a scoreless eighth inning and picked up his second hold of the season in Tuesday's victory over the Orioles.

Impact Williams did not make things easy on himself, allowing the first three batters he faced to reach base, but he punched out the next three hitters that came to the plate and maintained the one-run lead the Brewers held when he entered the contest. Williams has tossed just two innings thus far, but five of the six outs he has recorded have come via the strikeout.

Christian Yelich - Reaching base regularly Yelich went 1-for-4 with a double, a run and a walk in Tuesday's victory over the Orioles.

Impact After going hitless on Opening Day, Yelich has reached base at least twice in four straight games, and he owns an even .500 OBP five games into the season. He has not homered as of yet, but he did double in two of his last three games and has scalded a couple baseballs, so it may not be long before he records his first long ball of the year.

Impact Sounds manager Rick Sweet was emphatic that the organization still views him as a shortstop, but the reality is Willy Adames isn't going anywhere anytime soon, so Turang will need to add some defensive versatility in order to increase his chances of getting looks in the majors. Garrett Mitchell - Exits with injury Mitchell left Tuesday's Double-A game with a shoulder injury, according to Jim Goulart of BrewerFanatic.com.

Impact The 23-year-old -- a first-round pick by the Brewers in 2020 -- posted just a .555 OPS over 35 games at the Double-A level last season and kicked off the 2022 campaign at the same level. The extent of Mitchell's injury is not yet known, so it remains to be seen if he will miss additional time.
