Impact Several Brewers made a huge impact offensively during Thursday's win, but none matched Urias' output. All five of his hits went for extra bases, and as if that wasn't enough, he was directly involved in 10 of the team's 17 runs as part of one of the best individual offensive displays of the entire MLB season. The shortstop extended his hitting streak to five games as well and is hitting an impressive .440 with a 1.422 OPS through 25 at-bats this month. Even though those numbers are unsustainable in the long run, there's no question he's been one of the hottest bats in the National League over the past few weeks.

However, no physical issue was behind Woodruff's removal, and Brewers manager Craig Counsell may have just elected to end the All-Star right-hander's day early due to his poor control (74 pitches, 46 strikes). Given that Woodruff was pitching on four days' rest for only the second time all season due to Milwaukee having to shorten its rotation from six to five men with Eric Lauer and Adrian Houser on the COVID-19 injured list, the Brewers may have had additional incentive to pull Woodruff from the contest. He'll tentatively line up to make his next start in the Brewers' series in St. Louis next week.
