Successful bullpen sessionWoodruff's (back) bullpen session went well Tuesday, and he should pitch in a game Thursday or Friday, Adam McCalvy of MLB.com reports.
ImpactIt remains to be seen whether Woodruff will start a Cactus League game later this week or pitch in a camp game. Any pitcher injury early in camp is worth monitoring closely, but there doesn't presently seem to be any concern about Woodruff's availability for the start of the regular season.

Diamondbacks’ outfielder Kole Calhoun sent for MRI on inflamed right kneeThe Diamondbacks are dealing with their first injury of consequence of spring training, a knee issue with outfielder Kole Calhoun.

Sent for MRI on kneeCalhoun has been dealing with right knee inflammation since the offseason and went for an MRI on Tuesday, Zach Buchanan of The Athletic reports.
ImpactCalhoun still has time to be ready for Opening Day if the MRI reveals nothing serious, but even a shutdown of just a week or two could threaten his readiness for the start of the season, which is now less than a month away. The veteran is coming off a strong season that saw him finish tied for seventh in the league with 16 homers, so losing him would be a blow to the Diamondbacks. Tim Locastro or Josh VanMeter could step into bigger roles if Calhoun's forced to miss time.

Easing into game actionCain won't get into a Cactus League game until Monday at the earliest, Sophia Minnaert of Fox Sports Wisconsin reports.
ImpactCain isn't dealing with any injury, but the Brewers are understandably bringing him along slowly given his age (34) and the fact that he barely played last season after opting out just five games into the campaign. There's no reason at this point to fear that his readiness for Opening Day is under any serious threat.

Scheduled to throw TuesdayWoodruff (back) is slated to throw a bullpen session Tuesday, Tom Haudricourt of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.
ImpactWoodruff was initially lined up to make his Cactus League debut Tuesday against the Athletics, but the Brewers scratched him a day in advance of the game after he experienced some back stiffness. Manager Craig Counsell downplayed the injury Monday, and the fact that Woodruff will still be allowed to throw in some capacity Tuesday supports the notion that his back soreness is only a minor concern. If all goes well during the bullpen session, Woodruff could be cleared to pitch in a Cactus League or simulated game this weekend.

Scheduled to pitch TuesdayWahl (arm) is expected to work in relief Tuesday in the Brewers' Cactus League game against the Athletics, Will Sammon of The Athletic reports.
ImpactWahl was shut down at the Brewers' alternate training site last September after experiencing right arm soreness, but the injury seemingly isn't a concern heading into 2021. Before being optioned to the alternate site last season, Wahl made three appearances out of the Milwaukee bullpen, giving up three runs on four hits over 2.1 innings.
