Diego Castillo - Could return to lineup soonDiamondbacks manager Torey Lovullo said Castillo (neck) could return to Arizona's lineup within the next couple of days, Steve Gilbert of MLB.com reports.
ImpactAfter colliding with Geraldo Perdomo (chest) while fielding a ground ball Wednesday against the Brewers, Castillo and Perdomo each were removed from the game. Luckily, both of their injuries seem to be minor and won't impact their status for Opening Day. Castillo is currently 9-for-33 at the plate this spring with two RBI and a stolen base.

Geraldo Perdomo - Could make quick returnDiamondbacks manager Torey Lovullo said Perdomo (chest) could return to Arizona's lineup "in the next day or so," Steve Gilbert of MLB.com reports.
ImpactPerdomo suffered a chest contusion after colliding with Diego Castillo (neck) during Wednesday's game against Milwaukee. Both players were removed from the game, but each of their injuries seem to be minor. Perdomo is slashing .261/.414/.435 with three RBI through 30 plate appearances this spring.

Christian Walker - Scratched due to bruised hipWalker was scratched from the Diamondbacks' Cactus League lineup Thursday due to lingering left hip discomfort, Steve Gilbert of MLB.com reports.
ImpactWalker was struck by a pitch just above his left hip this past Monday and still has some bruising. It doesn't sound like anything that would threaten his readiness for Opening Day.

Mark Melancon - Will begin season on ILMelancon was diagnosed with a subscapularis strain in his right shoulder Thursday and will begin the season on the injured list, Steve Gilbert of MLB.com reports.
ImpactThe news keeps getting worse regarding Melancon's shoulder. He will receive a PRP injection Thursday and is expected to miss the first few months of the season. Expect Andrew Chafin and Kevin Ginkel to pick up an increased share of save opportunities while Melancon is out.
