Rowdy Tellez - Out of Friday's lineupTellez (knee) is not in the lineup Friday against the Pirates.
ImpactTellez will remain on the bench for the second straight contest after leaving Wednesday's game with right knee discomfort. Manager Craig Counsell said the 26-year-old is feeling better Friday, but the team elected to give him an extra day to recover, Adam McCalvy of MLB.com reports. Eduardo Escobar will shift to first base while Luis Urias starts at the hot corner.

Jace Peterson - Perfect day at the platePeterson went 5-for-5 with a home run, a double, four RBI, three runs and a walk in Thursday's victory over the Cubs.
ImpactPeterson started Thursday for just the third time since coming off the COVID-19 injured list Aug. 2, and he made the most of the opportunity, reaching in all six plate appearances and raising his OPS a whopping 70 points to .821. Peterson has posted a stellar .980 OPS in 31 games since June 23, but with the Brewers relatively healthy, expect him to continue filling a part-time role.

Kyle Hendricks - Woeful against BrewersHendricks (13-5) was tagged with the loss Thursday against the Brewers after allowing nine runs on 11 hits and a walk across four innings, striking out three.
ImpactThis was one of Hendricks' worst starts of his entire career, as the right-hander struggled to settle on the mound and allowed hard contact all game long. The nine runs allowed are a season-worst mark for him, while the 11 hits tied his worst season output in that category as well. He still owns a 4.15 ERA on the year and was coming off a stretch of six quality starts across seven appearances before the wheels came off in this one, however, so there's a chance this might have been nothing more than an outlier and a bad day for the eight-year veteran.

Luis Urías - Homers twice in five-hit dayUrias went 5-for-6 with two home runs, three doubles, five RBI and five runs scored in Thursday's win over the Cubs.
ImpactSeveral Brewers made a huge impact offensively during Thursday's win, but none matched Urias' output. All five of his hits went for extra bases, and as if that wasn't enough, he was directly involved in 10 of the team's 17 runs as part of one of the best individual offensive displays of the entire MLB season. The shortstop extended his hitting streak to five games as well and is hitting an impressive .440 with a 1.422 OPS through 25 at-bats this month. Even though those numbers are unsustainable in the long run, there's no question he's been one of the hottest bats in the National League over the past few weeks.
