Dylan Cease - No run support in lossCease (5-6) suffered a loss Sunday against the Brewers after allowing two runs on five hits and two walks while striking out seven in seven innings.
ImpactCease notched his highest strikeout total since July 22 and reached seven innings for the first time all year. The Brewers manufactured a run on a sacrifice fly in the second after kicking off the inning with back-to-back singles and then tacked on another in the fifth while the White Sox were blanked until the ninth. Cease registered an elite 39 percent CSW rate in the outing but still managed to come out on the losing end for a third time in his last four tries. He now owns a 4.32 ERA, 1.39 WHIP and 157:61 K:BB in 133.1 innings and lines up for a road matchup against the Rockies next weekend.

Freddy Peralta - Continues run of dominancePeralta (9-8) threw six shutout innings against the White Sox on Sunday to earn the win. He allowed four hits while walking three batters and striking out six.
ImpactPeralta is on a torrid four-game stretch at the moment. Since July 26, he is 3-0 with a 1.44 ERA, 0.80 WHIP and 39:5 K:BB in 25 innings while throwing four quality starts. He also has recorded 64 whiffs over that span which is the most in all of baseball. When Peralta is at his best, he can be downright elite and has the potential to be a league winner down the stretch, but he'll have his work cut out for him when he faces the Rangers on the road his next time out.

Christian Yelich - On base three timesYelich went 1-for-3 with two walks, two RBI, a stolen base and a run scored in Sunday's win over the White Sox.
ImpactYelich extended his hit streak to a modest six games with a two-RBI single in the ninth to put the Brewers up 7-0. He also added his second steal in his last three games and his third steal this month. He's been a tough out at the plate since the All-Star break, slashing .313/.383/.513 with five homers, 21 RBI and 15 runs, four steals and a 13:24 BB:K in 28 games.

Carlos Santana - Plates three with home runSantana went 1-for-5 with a three-run homer in Sunday's win over the White Sox.
ImpactSantana's blast proved to be the difference in Sunday's contest after it put the Brewers up 5-0 and they went on to win 7-3. It was Santana's second long ball this month, and coincidentally, those are the only two games he has driven in runs. The 37-year-old is slashing a meager .226/.305/.400 with 15 home runs, 59 RBI, 50 runs and a 47:78 BB:K in 453 plate appearances. With Rowdy Tellez (finger) set to return soon, Santana could begin to lose out on starts against right-handed pitching.
