ImpactDobnak initially looked on track to start Wednesday's home game versus the Cubs, but the Twins opted to give him a couple extra days to rest up after he completed the final start of his minor-league rehab assignment at Triple-A St. Paul over the weekend. He covered 4.2 innings and tossed 78 pitches in that outing, so he shouldn't face any significant restrictions with his workload as he makes his first start for the Twins since June 19. Dobnak has been on the shelf for over two months with a strained middle finger on his pitching hand.

ImpactPerez's power seems to be ahead of schedule, as he hit six home runs with a .242 ISO and .575 SLG in 32 games in the rookie-level Arizona Complex League. His hit tool will be tested against full-season pitching, however, as he was pretty aggressive in the ACL, logging a 25.8 percent strikeout rate and 6.1 percent walk rate. Perez will be one of the youngest players at Low-A, so expectations should be tempered over the final weeks of the season.
