ImpactHarper took a pitch off his face and wrist back on April 28 and has appeared in just a single game since then. He attempted to return four days later but aggravated the wrist issue, forcing him to sit for four more days. He's fully cleared again after taking batting practice Thursday and will look to build on a strong start which has seen him post a .317/.446/.598 slash line through 24 games.

ImpactBradley should find himself in the lineup less than he's used to now that Lorenzo Cain is back from a quadriceps injury, though he still has a path to regular playing time given that Christian Yelich (back) landed right back on the injured list just one day after getting activated Monday. Bradley could start losing opportunities due to performance reasons, however, as he's gone 1-for-19 with eight strikeouts over his last six games and owns a .573 OPS on the year. Cain will be the center fielder Friday.

Travis Shaw - On bench against leftyShaw will sit Friday against southpaw Trevor Rogers and the Marlins.

ImpactRogers is somehow just the fourth southpaw the Brewers have faced thus far, so there hasn't been much opportunity to learn exactly what their default lineup looks like against lefties. It's clear that Shaw won't be a major part of that group, as he's started against just one of the four. Pablo Reyes starts at the hot corner in his absence.

ImpactThe Brewers have faced just four lefties this season, and Vogelbach hasn't been in the lineup against any of them. With Keston Hiura now in the minors, he doesn't have an obvious platoon partner, but it will be fellow lefty Billy McKinney who gets the nod at first base against Rogers.

ImpactSegura missed over two weeks with his strained right quadriceps. He'd gotten off to a hot start prior to the injury, hitting .333/.359/.450 through 17 games. He should return to his regular role at second base, pushing Nick Maton to the bench. Mickey Moniak was optioned in a corresponding move.

ImpactKirby's professional tenure has been hampered by health issues, but he has put those behind him for the time being and is back on the bump. Kirby throws left-handed and was selected 40th overall in the 2015 draft, so although he is no longer regarded as a promising prospect, his talents could get him to the big leagues down the road if he can avoid another injury.
