Christian Yelich - Doubles twice in winYelich went 2-for-4 with a pair of doubles and an RBI in Sunday's 2-1 win over Pittsburgh.
ImpactYelich extended his hitting streak to five games, going 7-for-20 (.350) in that span. The outfielder has suffered a brutal power slump lately, with his doubles Sunday accounting for his first extra-base hits since July 21. He's slashing .236/.375/.360 with six home runs, 31 RBI, 49 runs scored, seven stolen bases and 11 doubles through 307 plate appearances.

Ke'Bryan Hayes - Notches steal in lossHayes went 1-for-4 with a stolen base in Sunday's 2-1 loss to Milwaukee.
ImpactThe third baseman got aboard with a single in the sixth inning and stole second, but Pittsburgh couldn't bring him home. Hayes went 4-for-11 with two RBI and two runs scored across the three-game series against Milwaukee. He's hit safely in eight of his last 10 games, bumping his slash line up to .255/.320/.387 with five home runs, 25 RBI, three stolen bases and 29 runs scored through 259 plate appearances.

Dillon Peters - Takes loss in Pittsburgh debutPeters (0-1) allowed two runs (one earned) on five hits and three walks with three strikeouts in 4.2 innings, taking the loss Sunday versus Milwaukee.
ImpactThe southpaw made his first major-league appearance of 2021, but he wasn't very effective. Peters was let down by his defense in the first inning, and he gave up an RBI double to Christian Yelich in the third. The 28-year-old could remain in the rotation while Bryse Wilson (general soreness) is on the shelf, but Peters isn't likely to have much fantasy relevance on a subpar Pittsburgh team. His next turn through the rotation is tentatively scheduled for next weekend in St. Louis.

Willy Adames - Steals base, scores twice in winAdames went 1-for-3 with a walk, a stolen base and two runs scored in Sunday's 2-1 win over Pittsburgh.
ImpactThe shortstop scored on an error in the first inning and came home on a Christian Yelich double in the third to account for all of Milwaukee's run-scoring in the contest. Adames added his fifth stolen base in nine attempts. He's been good in August, going 16-for-52 (.308) with four home runs, four doubles, seven RBI, 10 runs scored and two steals in his last 13 games.

Brent Suter - Snags 12th winSuter (12-5) struck out two in a perfect inning, earning the win Sunday versus Pittsburgh.
ImpactThe southpaw worked the fifth inning after Eric Lauer lasted only four frames in his return from the COVID-19 injured list. Suter kept Pittsburgh off the bases, and Milwaukee held onto a narrow 2-1 lead to the end of the game. As a multi-inning reliever, Suter has been particularly effective at snagging wins this year. He's added a save, six holds and seven blown saves while posting a 2.81 ERA, 1.28 WHIP and 57:18 K:BB through 57.2 innings.

Josh Hader - Strikes out two in saveHader struck out two in a perfect inning to earn the save in Sunday's 2-1 win over Pittsburgh.
ImpactMilwaukee's closer has made two appearances since returning from the COVID-19 injured list, striking out five while allowing just one hit across two innings. Hader made quick work of the Pirates on Sunday, needing just 12 pitches to close out the contest. The hard-throwing lefty has a 1.74 ERA, 0.80 WHIP, 72:14 K:BB and 23 saves in 24 chances across 41.1 innings.
AUGUST 16, 2021ROTOWIRE
Eric Lauer - Solid in short startLauer allowed one run on three hits and struck out six across four innings in a no-decision versus Pittsburgh on Sunday.
ImpactAfter missing a week and a half while on the COVID-19 injured list, Lauer's return to action was fairly short. He threw 49 of 72 pitches for strikes before Brent Suter relieved him. Lauer continues to have the upper hand over the Pirates, as he's allowed just three runs in 18.1 innings in four appearances versus the Brewers' NL Central rivals. The southpaw owns a 3.44 ERA, 1.21 WHIP and 73:26 K:BB across 73.1 innings overall. He's projected to make his next start versus Washington next weekend.
