ImpactMiller has been sharp in his chances with the big club this season, allowing one run over 4.2 innings. He figures to slide into a middle relief role.

Eric Lauer - Lands on IL with shoulder injuryLauer was placed on the 15-day injured list by the Brewers on Monday with a right shoulder impingement.
ImpactIf there's good news here, it's that the injury is to Lauer's non-throwing shoulder. Still, it's unclear at this point how long he might be sidelined and the Brewers' rotation depth had already been hit hard by injuries. Lauer had been slated to start Thursday against the Giants, but Milwaukee will have to find someone else to take the ball that day.

Harold Ramírez - Taking seat MondayRamirez is absent from the Rays' lineup for Monday's game against the Blue Jays, Kristie Ackert of the Tampa Bay Times reports.
ImpactThe Rays will use Josh Lowe in the designated hitter spot and Luke Raley in right field. Ramirez had started each of the last four contests.

Zack Burdi - Recalled from Triple-ABurdi was recalled from Triple-A Durham by the Rays on Monday, Ryan Bass of Bally Sports Sun reports.
ImpactBurdi is replacing Jake Diekman, who went on paternity leave. He's tossed three scoreless frames with the Rays this season but might be headed back to Durham once Diekman returns.

Jake Diekman - Placed on paternity listDiekman was placed on the paternity list Monday.
ImpactDiekman will be away from the team for up to three days while with his expanding family. Right-hander Zack Burdi was called up from Triple-A Durham to replace him on the major-league roster in the meantime.

Tyler Glasnow - Dazzles in fourth rehab startGlasnow (oblique) covered six innings and struck out six while allowing an earned run on two hits and two walks Sunday in his rehab start for Triple-A Durham.
ImpactMaking the fourth start of his rehab assignment, Glasnow built up to 67 pitches and once again looked sharp during his time on the mound. The hard-throwing right-hander has been on the shelf all season with a left oblique strain, but he looks like he could return from the 15-day injured list later this week to make his 2023 debut for Tampa Bay. If activated, Glasnow would tentatively line up to make his first start for the Rays either Friday or Saturday versus the Dodgers at Tropicana Field.
