Abraham Toro - Returns to Triple-AToro was optioned to Triple-A Nashville on Thursday, Curt Hogg of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.
ImpactThe 26-year-old was recalled from Nashville last week and appeared in three games while up with the big club, going 4-for-10 with a home run, a walk, four RBI and three runs. Toro could return to the majors later in the season when the Brewers need infield depth.

Brian Anderson - Back from injured listAnderson (back) was reinstated from the 10-day injured list Thursday, Curt Hogg of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.
ImpactAnderson has been on the shelf nearly three weeks with a back strain, but he'll rejoin Milwaukee's active roster Thursday after completing a two-game rehab assignment at Triple-A Nashville. Trevor Megill - Optioned to NashvilleThe Brewers optioned Megill to Triple-A Nashville on Thursday.
ImpactMegill made only one appearance out of the Milwaukee bullpen during his five-day stay in the majors and gave up two earned runs on four hits in two innings. The 29-year-old right-hander owns a 5.84 ERA in 83 career appearances at the big-league level.

Jeter Downs - Recalled from RochesterWashington recalled Downs from Triple-A Rochester on Thursday, Bobby Blanco of MASNSports.com reports.
ImpactDowns is expected to get regular playing time on the Nationals' infield following Wednesday's demotion of Luis Garcia, but the 25-year-old former top prospect doesn't offer much immediate fantasy appeal given how poorly he's performed this summer in the minors. In his 45 games (166 plate appearances) between the rookie-level Florida Complex League, High-A Wilmington and Triple-A Rochester, Downs was slashing just .165/.319/.308 with three home runs and eight stolen bases.

Tyrone Taylor - Homers in lossTaylor went 1-for-2 with a solo home run in Wednesday's loss to the Nationals.
ImpactTaylor put the Brewers on the board with a solo home run off Mackenzie Gore in the top of the second and was later replaced by Sal Frelick in the seventh. It was just the outfielder's third home run of the season, though two of those have come in his last four games. He's added four RBI over that stretch.

Wade Miley - Strikes out five over four framesMiley did not factor into the decision Wednesday, allowing one run on three hits and two walks over four innings against Washington. He struck out five.
ImpactMiley pitched well in his return to the rotation, with the only damage against him coming in the third inning when he allowed a leadoff double to Alex Call to open the frame, followed by an RBI single to Jake Alu. The left-hander then struck out three batters in the fourth inning before being relieved by Hoby Miner to open the fifth. Miley has allowed just one run over his last 10 innings of work to go along with a 13:5 K:BB.
