Danny Coulombe - Moved to 60-day IL Coulombe (hip) was transferred to the 60-day injured list Monday, Aaron Gleeman of The Athletic reports.
Impact Coulombe has already been on the injured list since the end of May, so it won't impact his return date. Miguel Sano (knee) was reinstated from the 60-day injured list and will take Coulombe's spot on the 40-man roster.

Gilberto Celestino - Sent to Triple-A Celestino was optioned to Triple-A St. Paul on Monday, Aaron Gleeman of The Athletic reports.
Impact Celestino has struggled at the dish in July, slashing .143/.217/.190 with a double, two RBI and two walks through 15 games. Miguel Sano (knee) will take his place on the active roster after being activated from the 60-day injured list.

Impact Sano needed to be activated Monday to avoid an extension of his rehab assignment, and the team made the move official Monday evening. He was batting .093 with a home run, three RBI and one stolen base through 17 games before undergoing surgery in mid-May to repair a torn meniscus in his left knee. It's unclear as to the type of role Sano will play on the active roster.

Jose Miranda - Drives in pair in win Miranda went 3-for-4 with two RBI, two runs scored and a hit-by-pitch in a 9-1 win Sunday in Detroit.
Impact Miranda drove in a run after being beaned in the first, singled and scored in both the seventh and eighth innings and drove in a run with a single in the ninth. It was the rookie's third three-hit game of the season. After struggling in his first month in the big leagues, the 24-year-old has produced a .322/.370/.534 line with six homers in 127 plate appearances dating back to June 3. All three of his hits came against right-handed pitchers, albeit the last one coming off a position player, raising his average to .252 against righties.

Sonny Gray - Stifles Tigers in win Gray (5-3) earned the victory Sunday in Detroit, striking out seven in six innings while allowing a run on two hits, a walk and a hit batsman.
Impact Gray retired the first 10 batters he faced and then ran into a little bit of trouble in the fourth when a hit-by-pitch, a walk and a single led to Detroit's lone run. He returned to form after that and retired seven of the last eight batters he faced. After starting the season with a 2.17 ERA through his first 10 starts, the 32-year-old struggled in his first three starts in July, allowing 14 runs in 13.1 innings while posting an 8:6 K:BB. Sunday's start was a step in the right direction, and his seven strikeouts were his most since May 24. The Tigers have not fared well against Gray this season as he's allowed one run on six hits in 13 innings while fanning 17.
