The 19-year-old outfielder remains a fascinating prospect with a wide spectrum of potential outcomes, but with his on-base skills and power, there's a lot to like. The keys for Rodriguez will be cutting down on his swing-and-miss and getting to his power in game situations more consistently.

Impact Winder seemed set to maintain his spot in the rotation, so it was a slight surprise he was used in relief. He was used as a tandem long reliever with starter Dylan Bundy on a limited pitch count in his return from an illness. Winder could potentially return to the rotation as a result, though it's not clear if the Twins plan to return to a six-man rotation.

Carlos Correa - Reinstated from 10-day IL The Twins reinstated Correa (finger) from the 10-day injured list Wednesday.
Impact Correa sustained a finger injury May 5, and although he avoided a fracture, he still sat out nearly two weeks. The 27-year-old will serve as Minnesota's clear top shortstop now that he's healthy, while Royce Lewis will head to the minors to get more consistent playing time at positions other than shortstop. Prior to his absence, Correa hit .255/.320/.372 with two homers, five doubles, 12 runs and 11 RBI over 24 games.

Impact Manager Rocco Baldelli said after Tuesday's 5-2 loss to the Athletics that Royce Lewis would be sent back to Triple-A St. Paul, clearing a spot on the 26-man active roster for Correa, who hasn't played since May 5 due to the right middle finger bone bruise. Though Lewis performed as arguably the Twins' top hitter during his 11-game run as the everyday shortstop, Minnesota won't be too disappointing to usher Correa back into the lineup. Prior to suffering the injury, Correa was hitting .255 with two home runs across 103 plate appearances in his first season in Minnesota.

Royce Lewis - Returns to minors The Twins optioned Lewis to Triple-A St. Paul following Tuesday's 5-2 loss to the Athletics, Dan Hayes of The Athletic reports.
Impact With Carlos Correa (finger) due to return from the 10-day injured list Wednesday, Lewis' time as Minnesota's everyday shortstop was set to end, and the organization decided the 22-year-old was best off playing on a regular basis at Triple-A rather than more sporadically as a super-utility man in the big leagues. Lewis ended his first stint in the majors with a bang, going 2-for-4 with a solo home run and a double Tuesday to bring his OPS up to .889 through his first 11 MLB games. According to Betsy Helfand of the St. Paul Pioneer Press, Lewis will see most of his action at shortstop as a he returns to Triple-A, though the Twins plan to move him around and give him some exposure to different positions in an effort to increase his pathways to at-bats when he makes his return to the big club.
