Josh Rojas - Adds steal SundayRojas went 1-for-4 with a stolen base and a run scored in Sunday's 7-1 win over the Twins.
ImpactRojas got aboard with a single in the sixth inning, stole second and scored on a Buddy Kennedy grand slam. While he's gone 3-for-20 (.150) with six strikeouts in his last five games, Rojas has added two of his five steals this season in that span. The versatile 27-year-old has a .254/.329/.388 slash line with four home runs, 16 RBI, 21 runs scored, four doubles and a triple. He's primarily played at third base lately, taking on an everyday role.

Pavin Smith - Goes deep in winSmith went 2-for-4 with a solo home run in Sunday's 7-1 win over the Twins.
ImpactSmith started at first base Sunday, allowing Christian Walker to rest his legs as the designated hitter. In the fifth inning, Smith swatted the third of Arizona's four homers in the contest. Over his last 22 games, he's gone a meager 10-for-77 (.130) while losing out on an everyday job with the emergence of Alek Thomas in center field. Smith is slashing just .194/.274/.358 with nine long balls, 28 RBI, 19 runs scored, a stolen base and six doubles through 61 contests. With Daulton Varsho picking up time in right field and prospect Buddy Kennedy challenging for playing time as the designated hitter, Smith's role could further shrink if he can't get his bat going.

Buddy Kennedy - Clobbers grand slam for first homerKennedy went 1-for-4 with a grand slam in Sunday's 7-1 win over the Twins.
ImpactKennedy blew things wide open for the Diamondbacks, notching their fourth home run of the game in the sixth inning, and the only one that wasn't a solo shot. He's now 3-for-10 with a triple, a homer, four RBI and three runs scored in his first three major-league games. Considering he batted .296/.384/429 in 54 contests with Triple-A Reno before his promotion, it's not surprising to see Kennedy continue to hit well. His playing time is likely to take a hit soon, as Ketel Marte (hamstring) is due to return during a three-game series in San Diego that starts Monday.

Christian Walker - Snaps skid with two homersWalker went 2-for-4 with a pair of solo home runs in Sunday's 7-1 win over the Twins.
ImpactWalker entered Sunday on an 0-for-15 skid. He snapped that slump in his first at-bat with a 404-foot homer. He added a 413-foot blast in the fourth inning, and it was the first baseman who accounted for both runs on Twins starter Chris Archer's line. Through 66 contests, Walker has 18 homers, 35 RBI, 30 runs scored, 10 doubles and a triple with a .201/.297/.483 slash line.

Merrill Kelly - Goes seven strong in winKelly (6-4) earned the win Sunday over the Twins. He allowed one run on five hits and no walks with five strikeouts in seven innings.
ImpactKelly got into trouble in the first inning, giving up a run when Carlos Correa grounded into a double play. That ended up being the only damage on Kelly's line, as he settled in after that and completed seven innings for the third time in 14 starts. The strong outing trimmed his ERA to 3.46 with a 1.29 WHIP and 66:29 K:BB across 78 innings overall. The right-hander is projected for a favorable home start versus the Tigers next weekend.
JUNE 20, 2022ROTOWIRE
Chris Archer - Another short start SundayArcher (1-3) took the loss Sunday versus the Diamondbacks. He allowed two runs on three hits and struck out three while walking none in four innings.
ImpactThis was just the second time in his last seven outings that Archer has allowed multiple runs, but he's only completed five innings in two of those outings. The right-hander's rarely been used for long outings this season, which makes it difficult for him to pitch deep enough to qualify for wins or earn quality starts. He's logged a 3.44 ERA, 1.30 WHIP and 40:23 K:BB in 52.1 innings across 13 starts. He's lined up for a home start versus the Rockies next weekend.
