ImpactGarza was designated for assignment by the Twins on Tuesday when the team signed Carlos Correa. He posted a 3.56 ERA in 30.1 innings of relief as a 27-year-old rookie for Houston and Minnesota last year, but his 22.8 percent strikeout rate and 11.0 percent walk rate were both unimpressive.
