Jose Miranda - Dealing with mouth bruiseMiranda was diagnosed with a lip/mouth contusion after being hit by a pitch Tuesday against the White Sox, Megan Ryan of the Minneapolis Star Tribune reports.
ImpactThe 24-year-old had the pitch ricochet off his left hand before it struck him in the face, and it appears he's avoided a serious injury. Miranda should be considered day-to-day, and it's unclear if he'll be available Wednesday for the final game of the regular season.
