ImpactThe Twins decided to swap out Thornburg for another journeyman reliever in Juan Minaya, after Thornburg walked three and gave up three runs against Cleveland on Thursday. ImpactMinaya was booted from Minnesota's 40-man roster less than a month ago, but he he will get another opportunity after biding his time in the minors for a while. Now 31, Minaya has been in affiliated ball since the age of 18 and has appeared in parts of six MLB seasons. He has a 3.75 ERA, 1.39 WHIP and 192:91 K:BB over 174.2 career innings. Tyler Thornburg was designated for assignment to clear a spot for Minaya.
