ImpactDue to the twin bill, the Twins will temporarily have a need for a sixth starter, so Jax will return from the minors to fill the void. Jax previously made five appearances (one start) for Minnesota earlier this season, posting an 8.66 ERA and 1.70 WHIP across 17.2 innings.

ImpactBurrows was sent packing in anticipation of the return of Daniel Coulombe (personal), who is on track to be activated from the paternity list ahead of Monday's series opener with the White Sox. After being scooped up off waivers from the Tigers in late June, Burrows made his Twins debut against his former team in the first game of Saturday's doubleheader. He worked around a pair of hits to hold Detroit scoreless over 1.1 innings in relief.

ImpactHill is up to six stolen bases in seven attempts after his theft Sunday. The 25-year-old outfielder has added three RBI and six runs scored through 26 plate appearances, but all six of his hits so far have been singles. He'll likely see the short side of a platoon with Akil Baddoo in center field while Daz Cameron (toe) is out.

Akil Baddoo - Records 14th stealBaddoo went 2-for-4 with a stolen base and a run scored in Sunday's 7-0 win over Minnesota.

ImpactBaddoo hit a leadoff single in the first inning and stole second, but he was left on base. The rookie outfielder got aboard with another single in the fifth and scored on a Jonathan Schoop home run. Baddoo is now 14-for-17 in stolen base attempts while adding six homers, 31 RBI, 31 runs scored and five triples through 247 plate appearances. He'll likely be a lock for the strong side of a platoon in center field while Daz Cameron (toe) is on the injured list, although Baddoo patrolled left field while Derek Hill was in center Sunday.

Jeimer Candelario - Goes deep in winCandelario went 2-for-4 with a two-run home run and an RBI double in Sunday's 7-0 win over Minnesota.

ImpactCandelario provided his RBI double in the third inning to cap off a three-run rally. He added extra insurance in the seventh inning with his sixth homer of the season. The 27-year-old has added 21 doubles, 27 RBI, 39 runs scored and a .264/.347/.389 slash line through 354 plate appearances. He remains a bit on the soft-hitting side, but he's gotten on base at a healthy clip in 2021.
