Tommy Pham - Departs with apparent injury Pham was removed during the first inning of Sunday's game at San Diego with an apparent injury, Tim Healey of Newsday reports.
Impact The 35-year-old lined out to center field in the top of the first inning and appeared to suffer an injury while fielding a Ha-Seong Kim single in the bottom of the frame. Pham should be considered day-to-day until more information is available.

José Quintana - Struggles while pitching sick Quintana (ribs) pitched with flu-like symptoms in his rehab start Saturday for Triple-A Syracuse, SNY reports.
Impact This rehab start was supposed to come Friday, and Quintana was still under the weather with an extra day of rest, according to manager Buck Showalter. According to Michael Mayer of MetsmerizedOnline.com, Quintana's average fastball velocity was 89.6 mph as he gave up five earned runs on four hits and three walks while striking out five in 4.1 innings. He did have 15 swinging strikes in the outing, and the decreased velocity (91.2 mph average in 2022) could be explained by his illness. It's unclear when Quintana will be inserted into the big-league rotation, but it could be the first or second turn in the rotation after the All-Star break.

Denyi Reyes - Outrighted to Triple-A Reyes cleared waivers and was outrighted to Triple-A Syracuse on Sunday, Anthony DiComo of MLB.com reports.
Impact Reyes was designated for assignment by the Mets on Tuesday but will stick around the organization. He's allowed fived earned runs over 7.1 major-league innings this year and has a 6.97 ERA across 41.1 frames with Syracuse.
