The 23-year-old remains without a definitive timeline to make his debut with the Mets' Double-A affiliate in Binghamton, but he's reportedly been able to throw bullpen sessions of late.

Pete Alonso - Drives in three in loss Alonso went 2-for-4 with a home run and three RBI in Sunday's loss to the Phillies.
Impact A two-run single in the third inning got the Mets on the board before Alonso took Jose Alvarado deep for a solo shot in the seventh. In seven games since making a stunning early return from a wrist injury, the first baseman has gone just 5-for-28 (.179), but four of the hits -- two doubles and two homers -- have gone for extra bases.

Impact He launched his 15th homer of the year off Zack Wheeler in the fifth inning, helping to build a lead the bullpen would squander in the eighth. Lindor is finally beginning to catch fire, going 8-for-24 (.333) over the last seven games with two doubles, three homers, six walks, three steals, seven runs and eight RBI, but on the season he still carries a tepid .749 OPS.

Elieser Hernández - Resumes rehab Hernandez (shoulder) worked one inning for High-A Brooklyn on Sunday, giving up a hit and striking out two in a scoreless frame.
Impact The right-hander had his rehab assignment paused at the beginning of June due to side discomfort, but he's beginning to ramp up again. Hernandez is likely to join the Mets bullpen when he gets healthy and won't need to get fully stretched out, so he could come off the IL before the All-Star break.

José Quintana - Should return before break Quintana (ribs) is expected to make one more rehab start before joining the Mets' rotation during a western road trip that begins July 4, Tim Britton of The Athletic reports.
Impact The southpaw had his most recent rehab outing delayed a couple days due to mild soreness on his right side, but Quintana looked healthy Sunday, throwing four innings for High-A Brooklyn and allowing one run on two hits and a walk while striking out five. If he stays on turn, the 34-year-old would make his final rehab start Friday, setting him up to be activated the following week.

Impact The right-hander was designated for assignment by Baltimore last weekend and will now join a new organization. Garrett has appeared in just two big-league games this year but has a 1.59 ERA over 22.2 innings at Triple-A.
