ImpactPham had gone just 4-for-31 over his previous 13 contests before the slump-busting effort Sunday. The outfielder also logged his first two-steal game of the season, giving him five thefts on the year. He's added a meager .225/.311/.393 slash line with three home runs, 14 RBI and seven runs scored through 103 plate appearances. Pham's lackluster hitting has seen him lose playing time to Mark Canha and Jeff McNeil (groin) in left field.

ImpactAlvarez put an exclamation point on the Mets' six-run fourth inning. The homer was his fifth during his eight-game hitting streak, a span in which he's added 13 RBI while batting .400 (12-for-30). The young slugger is up to eight homers, 19 RBI, 14 runs scored and a .269/.327/.558 slash line through 33 contests this season.

Tylor Megill - Struggles in ColoradoMegill allowed six runs (four earned) on 10 hits and two walks while striking out three over four innings in a no-decision versus the Rockies on Sunday.
ImpactMegill ran into some trouble in the third and fourth innings, but he was able to avoid the loss by exiting with the game tied at 6-6. It's the second start in a row and the fourth time this year he's failed to pitch five full innings. He's now at a 4.67 ERA, 1.59 WHIP and 43:27 K:BB through 54 innings across 11 starts. Megill is tentatively set for a home start versus the Blue Jays in his next outing.
