ImpactFollowing Monday's fielding practice, Carrasco is expected to throw his first live batting practice sometime this week. While the right-hander could require several live BP sessions, he's expected to begin a rehab assignment shortly after. ImpactEickhoff elected free agency after he cleared waivers Saturday, but he'll ultimately return to the Mets on a minor-league deal. The right-hander should report to Triple-A Syracuse after he made eight starts with the minor-league club earlier in the season.
