Jeff McNeil - Officially placed on ILMcNeil (hamstring) was placed on the 10-day injured list Monday.

ImpactMcNeil exited Sunday's loss to the Rays with left hamstring tightness, but he's now been diagnosed with a strain after he underwent an MRI. It's not yet clear when he'll be able to return, but Johneshwy Fargas' contract was selected and Khalil Lee was recalled as part of the transaction.

Michael Conforto - Placed on injured listConforto (hamstring) was placed on the 10-day injured list Monday.

ImpactConforto's placement on the injured list was expected after he sustained a right hamstring strain in Sunday's loss to the Rays. The 28-year-old underwent an MRI on Monday, but the results aren't yet known. Johneshwy Fargas' contract was selected and Khalil Lee was recalled as part of a shuffle.

Brandon Lowe - Leaves yard in winLowe went 1-for-4 with a solo home run and an additional run scored in a win over the Mets on Sunday.

ImpactLowe's 375-foot laser to right in the sixth inning answered Patrick Mazeika's own solo shot in the visitor's half of the frame and restored the Rays' lead to four runs. Lowe is still slashing an unacceptable .195/.305/.391 for the season, but he's now hit in four straight games, also rapping out a double in addition to Sunday's homer and drawing three walks over that span.

Diego Castillo - Allows homer in returnCastillo, activated from the injured list Friday, allowed a solo home run and recorded a strikeout over one inning in a win over the Mets on Sunday.

ImpactManager Kevin Cash got Castillo some low-leverage work in the sixth inning after not utilizing him in his first two games following activation from his IL stint due to a groin injury. Castillo surrendered a solo home run to Patrick Mazeika but was otherwise sharp, getting 13 of his 19 pitches into the strike zone. Assuming there are no residual setbacks following Sunday's activity level, Castillo should be back to his customary high-leverage role in coming days.

ImpactBased on where he currently stands in his recovery from a right oblique strain, Guillorme is realistically at least a week away from returning from the 10-day injured list. When the Mets are at full strength, Guillorme typically functions mostly as a late-inning defensive replacement off the bench, but his absence looms larger now that four everyday players -- Michael Conforto (hamstring), Jeff McNeil (hamstring), Brandon Nimmo (finger) and J.D. Davis (hand) -- are also on the 10-day injured list.
