ImpactBlankenhorn was promoted from Triple-A on Saturday and effectively served as the 29th man for the doubleheader, though he didn't appear in either contest. The 25-year-old has appeared in 23 games for the Mets this season and has a .174/.208/.391 slash line in 24 plate appearances.

ImpactThe 27-year-old was technically optioned back to Triple-A Rochester after the completion of the twin bill, but he's been added back to the major-league roster with Gerardo Parra (knee) heading to the injured list. Rogers started Game 2 of the doubleheader and picked up the win after allowing three runs on four hits with three walks and five strikeouts across 5.2 innings. He's unlikely to remain in the rotation but should be in the mix to pitch should Washington require a spot starter.

ImpactParra underwent surgery on the same knee late last year and has recently been experiencing discomfort, and he'll be sidelined for at least the next 10 days. Josh Rogers, who was recalled from Triple-A Rochester for Saturday's doubleheader and started Game 2, will remain with the big-league club and take Parra's roster spot.
