Candidate for Sunday call-up Dominguez is being considered to be called up by the Yankees when rosters expand Sunday, per MLB.com. Impact It's not clear whom the Yankees will select for their two additional roster spots, though rehabbing veteran Anthony Rizzo (forearm) has a good chance of being activated from the injured list to take one of the slots. Manager Aaron Boone said Friday that Dominguez is also "a name in consideration," adding that the top prospect has "been stringing together some days of good work and good at-bats." Dominguez got to play in one game for the big club when he served as the 27th man for the Little League Classic versus Detroit on Aug. 18, and he went 0-for-4 with three strikeouts in that game. The 21-year-old has been excellent in the minors this season, slashing .309/.368/.485 with eight homers, 27 RBI and 15 steals over 50 contests across three levels, with his most of his time spent with Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre.
