ImpactVelazquez also struck out three times in the contest, but his fifth-inning single extended his on-base streak to six games. Over that stretch, he is slashing .318/.348/.591 with a home run, four RBI and three steals. Velazquez swiped 26 bags in 29 attempts with Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre this season, so he has some value in fantasy leagues, though he is likely to fade into a reserve role once Gio Urshela (hamstring) and Gleyber Torres (thumb) return to action.

Aroldis Chapman - Can't close door TuesdayChapman earned a hold Tuesday against Atlanta, pitching two-thirds of an inning and allowing one run on two hits and two walks while striking out one.
ImpactThe veteran closer notched his first hold of the campaign, but it was nonetheless a discouraging outing. Chapman was brought in to protect a three-run lead in the ninth inning and had to be rescued by Wandy Peralta, who got the final out with the bases loaded to notch his fifth save. Chapman struggled mightily with his control, throwing only 12 of 26 pitches for strikes and issuing two walks. Since returning from the injured list Aug. 18, Chapman has not registered a save, allowing two runs on four hits and three walks across 2.1 frames.
