Gio Urshela - Running at 80 percentUrshela (hamstring) ran at 80 percent Monday and will ramp up his participating in baseball activities in the next couple days, Max Goodman of SI.com reports.

ImpactIf all goes well while increasing his rehab work, Urshela may begin a rehab assignment by the end of the week. The 29-year-old has been sidelined since late July with a strained hamstring and will likely require a few games in the minors to get back up to speed, which could allow him to be activated sometime next week.

Anthony Rizzo - Nearing return to activitiesRizzo (illness) will go through a cardiac screening Monday, Lindsey Adler of The Athletic reports.

ImpactManager Aaron Boone is hopeful that Rizzo will be able to hit and take grounders at Yankee Stadium on Tuesday if Monday's screening goes well. While the 32-year-old won't be activated right away, he appears to be trending toward a return. Rizzo has been sidelined since Aug. 8 after he tested positive for COVID-19.

ImpactKluber made his first rehab outing Thursday with Double-A Somerset and gave up five runs on two hits with four walks and one strikeout in 1.1 innings. He threw 45 pitches in that contest, and he should continue building up his workload as he moves up to Triple-A. The 35-year-old figures to require another rehab start or two beyond Tuesday before returning from the injured list.
