ImpactDozier and Whit Merrifield were the only Royals to produce multiple hits in the contest. Currently on a six-game hitting streak (8-for-21), Dozier has quietly begun to turn his season around. ImpactThe right-hander was awarded the win in a bullpen game that the Yankees led nearly wire-to-wire. Green has been excellent in a versatile role this year with a 3.05 ERA, 0.85 WHIP and 66:12 K:BB through 59 innings. While he covered the sixth and seventh innings Wednesday, Green could also compete with Jonathan Loaisiga and Zack Britton for save chances while Aroldis Chapman (elbow) is on the injured list.
