Aaron Judge - Will up activities soonYankees manager Aaron Boone said Monday that he expects Judge (toe) to incorporate additional baseball activities other than throwing prior to the All-Star break, Gary Phillips of...
ImpactBoone wasn't sure what exactly Judge would be cleared to do, but any sort of progression would be welcome. The reigning American League MVP started throwing last Wednesday as he works his way back from a ligament tear in his right big toe. There remains no timetable for Judge's return to the Yankees' lineup.

Tyler O'Neill - Starting rehab assignment TuesdayO'Neill (back) will begin a rehab assignment with Triple-A Memphis on Tuesday, John Denton of MLB.com reports.
ImpactO'Neill will serve as Memphis' designated hitter Tuesday before eventually playing the outfield, provided he passes a variety of stress tests. The outfielder has been on the shelf since early May with a lingering back injury but finally began experiencing improvement following a pair of injections last month. O'Neill could return shortly after the All-Star break if all goes well.

Jake Bauers - Sits versus rightyBauers is out of the lineup for Monday's game against the Orioles.
ImpactThe lefty-hitting Bauers had been on the bench for three of the Yankees' previous five games, but each of those absences came against left-handed pitchers. At least for the series opener with Baltimore, Yankees manager Aaron Boone won't be playing matchups, as Bauers and fellow lefty hitter Billy McKinney will take seats against right-hander Tyler Wells. The Yankees will have a pair of righty hitters in Isiah Kiner-Falefa and Giancarlo Stanton replace the two at the corner-outfield spots.

Billy McKinney - Sits versus rightyMcKinney is out of the lineup for Monday's game against the Orioles.
ImpactMcKinney had been on the bench for four of the Yankees' previous five games, but all of those absences from the lineup had come with the opposition bringing left-handed pitchers to the hill. The lefty-hitting outfielder will now be sitting out Monday against a right-hander (Tyler Wells), with both McKinney and fellow lefty hitter Jake Bauers ceding their spots in the corner outfield to a pair of right-handed hitters in Giancarlo Stanton and Isiah Kiner-Falefa.

Jose Trevino - Sitting MondayTrevino is out of the lineup for Monday's game against the Orioles.
ImpactTrevino will take a seat for the series opener with Baltimore after he worked behind the plate in three of the Yankees' past four contests. Kyle Higashioka will catch for starting pitcher Domingo German on Monday, after the two previously worked in tandem for German's perfect game against the Athletics last week.

Steven Matz - Drawing start WednesdayMatz will start for the Cardinals on Wednesday in Miami, Isaac Azout of SBNation.com reports.
ImpactThe Cards needed a spot starter following a doubleheader over the weekend. Matz has posted a 1.98 ERA since being demoted to the bullpen a month ago, which includes 6.2 scoreless frames over his last two appearances. That was preceded by a 5.72 ERA in 10 starts, though, making him a poor streaming option especially since he won't be ready for a full workload.
