DJ LeMahieu - Likely to bat leadoff?LeMahieu is Yankees manager Aaron Boone's preference to bat leadoff, the skipper intimated to Marly Rivera of ESPN.com on Wednesday.

ImpactLeMahieu might not even technically have a set starting spot, but he'll essentially be an everyday player if healthy and all indications are that he's past last year's toe issue. The veteran infielder has some bounce-back potential in fantasy if he is indeed placed at the top of the batting order, as he'll have tremendous runs and batting average upside.

Aaron Judge - To get reps in LF shortlyYankees manager Aaron Boone told ESPN on Wednesday that Judge is likely to play left field soon, Marly Rivera of ESPN.com reports.

Impact"Sometime, probably next week," Boone said. Judge has primarily played in right field with some center for the Yankees, but the outfielder is going to see some time in left with Giancarlo Stanton patrolling right -- an area that would require Stanton to cover less ground. Judge has only played in left field as a professional in 2016 when he was Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre, but it shouldn't be a major adjustment for the slugger.

ImpactCortes was forced to withdraw from pitching for the United States team in the World Baseball Classic after straining his right hamstring in a workout early on during spring training, but the injury doesn't look as though it'll threaten his availability for Opening Day. He's already been able to throw multiple bullpen sessions and noted Wednesday that his hamstring responded well to pitchers' fielding practice, so he'll take the next step forward in his recovery by facing hitters Friday. If all goes well for Cortes, Rivera noted that the southpaw could be a candidate to start the Yankees' March 8 Grapefruit League game against the Cardinals.
