Diaz was called up from Triple-A Las Vegas on Saturday, Daniel Alvarez-Montes of El Extrabase reports.
Impact
The 21-year-old infielder/designated hitter hit .326/.366/.515 with 19 home runs and 76 strikeouts in 120 games between Double-A and Triple-A. Diaz has primarily played designated hitter while also playing a handful of games at first, second and third base this year at Triple-A. He is not in Saturday's lineup.
