Luis Rengifo - Reaches three times, steals baseRengifo went 1-for-2 with two walks and a stolen base in a 4-1 win Sunday over Oakland.
ImpactRengifo reached base safely three times Sunday, swiping his first bag of the season and hitting fifth in the Angels' lineup for the first time. He has been excellent since being recalled from Triple-A earlier this month and has a solid .313/.421/.438 batting line in 39 plate appearances. With five straight starts at the keystone, the 25-year-old appears to be Los Angeles' primary second baseman while David Fletcher (hip) is on the injured list.

Raisel Iglesias - Picks up saveIglesias struck out all three batters he faced as he earned the save in a 4-1 victory Sunday over Oakland.
ImpactFacing the middle of the Oakland lineup, Iglesias needed just 12 pitches to strike out the side. It was his second straight excellent outing after losing consecutive appearances. The veteran is 10-for-11 in save opportunities and has a solid 22:4 K:BB despite having a 4.02 ERA. As long as he can keep the ball in the park, his numbers should continue to improve and look more like the high-level closer he has been in recent history.

Patrick Sandoval - Excellent in winSandoval (3-1) earned the win, striking out seven in 7.1 innings and allowing one run on four hits and a walk in a 4-1 victory Sunday over Oakland.
ImpactSandoval cruised through the first seven innings, scattering two singles and needing just 82 pitches to complete the frames. In the eighth, however, he allowed a run on two hits and a walk before being removed after retiring one batter. The 25-year-old is off to a phenomenal start with a 1.79 through 40.1 innings. The one knock against him in his first six outings was a less-than-stellar 31-16 K:BB but that rate was improved as he only issued a free pass to one batter Sunday. His next start will likely be next weekend against Toronto.

Cole Irvin - Allows 10 baserunners in returnIrvin (2-2) picked up the loss, allowing three runs (two earned) on eight hits and two walks while striking out four in six innings in a 4-1 defeat Sunday against the Angels.
ImpactAfter coming off the injured list (shoulder) to make the start, it could have been a lot worse for Irvin. He managed to pitch around trouble throughout the outing, allowing three baserunners in three different innings. The lefty has pitched at least five innings in all of his starts this season and has a 2.94 ERA. However, with 22 strikeouts and five homers allowed in 33.2 innings, there are plenty of signs that he's received more than his fair share of luck in the first quarter of the season. His next start will likely come at the end of next week against Texas.

Taylor Ward - Slated for precautionary MRIWard will receive an MRI on his shoulder and neck area Monday, Sam Blum of The Athletic reports.
ImpactWard has missed the last two games after colliding with the outfield wall Friday, and he said Sunday that he's still experiencing some weakness in his right shoulder. However, he said that Monday's MRI is precautionary, and he's optimistic that he'll be able to play Tuesday against the Rangers.
