ImpactTrivino entered a 2-2 tie in the ninth with one-out and a runner on second and struck out the next two Angels to send the game to extras. Manager Bob Melvin stuck with the righty after Oakland took the lead in the top of the 10th and Trivino retired the side in order to seal the victory. Following a brutal five appearance stretch a few weeks ago, Trivino has thrown five successful outings while surrendering only one run across 6.2 innings in that span.

Sergio Romo - Blows save SundayRomo pitched one-third of an inning in Sunday's 3-2 triumph over the Angels, allowing two runs (one earned) on three hits and blowing the save in the ninth inning.

He was removed and replaced with Lou Trivino who navigated the jam and got the win in extras.
