Mickey Moniak - Placed on injured listMoniak (hand) was placed on the injured list Thursday, ending his season, Sarah Valenzuela of the Los Angeles Times reports.

ImpactMoniak was hit in the hand by a pitch Wednesday against Oakland, and while his initial X-rays were negative, the Angels nonetheless decided he was best served heading to the injured list. It's unclear whether or not that implies that further tests found a fracture. The young outfielder missed most of the first two months of the season with a broken hand and later missed a month with a fractured finger. He hit just .170/.207/.302 in 37 games when healthy.

Archie Bradley - Back on injured listBradley returned to the injured list with a forearm strain Thursday, Jeff Fletcher of The Orange County Register reports.

ImpactBradley returned Tuesday after missing three months with a broken right elbow, but he'll return to the injured list just two days later with a different injury. He didn't make an appearance during his brief time back on the roster, so he'll end the year with a 4.82 ERA in 18.2 innings of relief.

Nash Walters - Called up ThursdayWalters was recalled from Triple-A Salt Lake on Thursday, Sam Blum of The Athletic reports.

ImpactWalters was traded to the Angels in early September, and he posted a 6.75 ERA and 1.57 WHIP in 5.1 innings over seven relief appearances at Salt Lake. He hasn't yet made his major-league debut but will join the Angels' bullpen after Archie Bradley (forearm) was placed on the injured list Thursday.

David Fletcher - Activated by HalosFletcher (hand) was reinstated from the 10-day injured list Thursday, Sam Blum of The Athletic reports.

ImpactFletcher spent just over the minimum of 10 days on the injured list with a bone bruise in his hand, but he resumed swinging recently and has been cleared for game action for the final few days of the regular season. The 28-year-old is starting Thursday against Oakland and should see plenty of playing time for the Angels over the next week.
