Max Schuemann - On base three times SundaySchuemann went 0-for-1 with three walks and a run in a win over the Blue Jays on Sunday.
ImpactThe rookie displayed impressive plate discipline out of the bottom of the order, pushing his season on-base percentage to .344 with his first multi-walk tally since July 25. Schuemann has now reached safely in six straight starts, a stretch where he boasts a .450 OBP across 20 plate appearances.

Daz Cameron - Doubles in rare startCameron went 1-for-4 with a double and a run in a win over the Blue Jays on Sunday.
ImpactCameron drew his first start since last Monday and delivered his second extra-base hit since July 27. The little-used outfielder holds just a .185 average and .659 OPS across 38 games at the big-league level in 2024, so his opportunities are likely to remain sparse as long as good health prevails in the Athletics' outfield.

Jordan Romano - Progressing, but not yet throwingBlue Jays manager John Schneider said Friday that Romano (elbow) is "progressing well" and is "feeling good" following his July 3 arthroscopic surgery, but the right-hander has yet...
ImpactAfter being placed on the injured list June 1 due to a right elbow inflammation, Romano twice had his throwing program shut down before he eventually required a procedure to repair an impingement. Though the Blue Jays seem satisfied with Romano's condition five weeks after surgery, he likely won't be rushed back into action, especially with Toronto out of playoff contention. Romano hasn't been ruled out from pitching again this season, but once he starts throwing again, the Blue Jays will have to wait and see how the 31-year-old's elbow responds before mapping out a potential target date for his return from the IL.

Bo Bichette - Yet to resume baseball activitiesBlue Jays manager John Schneider said Friday that Bichette (calf) is "progressing well" but has yet to resume baseball activities since landing on the injured list July 20, MLB.com...
ImpactBichette is closing in on the one-month mark in his recovery from a moderate right calf strain, and though he seems to be healing as anticipated, he hasn't demonstrated much in the way of tangible progress in the recovery process. The Blue Jays haven't provided a timeline for Bichette's return from the shelf, but since he hasn't resumed baseball activities and will eventually need to complete a minor-league rehab assignment before being activated, he wouldn't seem likely to rejoin the Toronto lineup until at least late August.
