George Springer - Another knee-related setbackSpringer was removed in the top of the ninth inning of Monday's game against the Yankees after he appeared to foul a ball of his left knee in his previous plate appearance an innin...ImpactAfter a Grade 1 left knee sprain kept Springer on the shelf for just over two weeks in August, the 31-year-old had returned as a designated hitter in each of his first seven starts back from the injured list. The effort to preserve Springer's body still wasn't fully successful, as he appeared to be in considerable pain when he fouled the ball off his bad knee, according to Kaitlyn McGrath of The Athletic.
