Shane Bieber - Out until SeptemberThe Guardians transferred Bieber (elbow) from the 15-day injured list to the 60-day IL on Monday, Mandy Bell of MLB.com reports.
ImpactBieber was placed on the IL coming out of the All-Star break after being diagnosed with right elbow inflammation, and though the Guardians recently determined that he won't require surgery to address the injury, it's apparent that he's dealing with something more significant than minor swelling. The right-hander is midway through a two-week non-throwing period, and based on the Guardians' decision to move him to the 60-day IL, he seems unlikely to resume baseball activities until at least some point in early August. Since Bieber won't be eligible for activation until Sept. 10 as a result of the transaction, fantasy managers in most redraft leagues are likely best off cutting the 2020 American League Cy Young Award winner in favor of a healthy option.

Tim Herrin - Sent to ColumbusThe Guardians optioned Herrin to Triple-A Columbus on Monday, Joe Noga of The Cleveland Plain Dealer reports.
ImpactCleveland selected the contract of lefty Daniel Norris from Triple-A to replace Herrin on the 26-man active roster and in the bullpen. Herrin was the pitcher of record in Sunday's loss to the Phillies after giving up three runs (two earned) on one hit and one walk. He needed 22 pitches to record his three outs and also threw 22 pitches between appearances Thursday and Friday, so he was unlikely to be available out of the bullpen for at least a couple of days.

Daniel Norris - Makes return to ClevelandThe Guardians selected Norris' contract from Triple-A Columbus ahead of Monday's game against the Royals, Joe Noga of The Cleveland Plain Dealer reports.
ImpactNorris will be up with the Guardians for the second time this season after he previously spent four days with the club before being designated for assignment June 21. Since clearing waivers and reporting back to Triple-A, Norris has posted a 2.35 ERA, 0.85 WHIP and 16:2 K:BB in 15.1 innings. Though he's been deployed as a swingman at Triple-A this season, Norris is likely to serve exclusively as a multi-inning bullpen arm while he's in the majors.

Seranthony Domínguez - Slated to return TuesdayDominguez (oblique) is slated to be activated from the 15-day injured list Tuesday, Matt Gelb of The Athletic reports.
ImpactDominguez has been sidelined since mid-June with a left oblique strain, but he's impressed in two rehab appearances at Triple-A Lehigh Valley with five strikeouts over two scoreless frames. He'll provide the Phillies with a late-inning relief option.

Bo Naylor - Sits again MondayNaylor is out of the lineup for Monday's game against the Royals.
ImpactThe lefty-hitting Naylor has now been on the bench for four of the Guardians' last five contests, though Cleveland opposed left-handed starters in three of those contests. He still appears to be the Guardians' preferred backstop versus right-handed pitching, but even his hold on a strong-side platoon role could be tenuous. Since getting a call-up from Triple-A Columbus on June 17, Naylor is hitting .191 with two home runs and a 29.7 percent strikeout rate over 74 plate appearances.

J.T. Realmuto - Getting day offRealmuto is not in the lineup for Monday's contest against the Orioles.
ImpactIt looks to be a routine day off for Realmuto, who caught each of his team's last three games and six of their last seven. Garrett Stubbs will be behind the plate for Cristopher Sanchez.
