Nick Castellanos - Still feeling soreCastellanos (oblique) felt sore when swinging earlier this week and has backed off rehab work for a few days, Alex Coffey of The Philadelphia Inquirer reports.
ImpactCastellanos has been out since early September with an oblique strain. The Phillies haven't provided an updated timeline for his return, but time is getting short for him to play a meaningful number of games before the end of the regular season. He at least hasn't been fully shut down, as he's merely stopped swinging and is still able to throw and do work in the outfield.

Edmundo Sosa - Likely to miss more than minimumSosa (hamstring) is expected to spend more than the minimum 10 days on the injured list, Alex Coffey of The Philadelphia Inquirer reports.
ImpactSosa left Thursday's game against the Marlins with a right hamstring strain and was placed on the injured list the next day. There are only 20 days left in the regular season, so Sosa will miss at minimum half of the remainder of the campaign and potentially the entire rest of the year. Yairo Munoz was called up to fill his utility role.

Zack Wheeler - Targeting Wednesday returnWheeler pitched to hitters and threw two simulated innings Friday, Matt Gelb of The Athletic reports.
ImpactAfter a few solid throwing sessions, Wheeler is on track to return Wednesday against the Blue Jays. He will almost certainly be put on a pitch count when he returns, though there is no word on exactly how far he will be allowed to pitch into the game.

Jacob Stallings - Sitting out FridayStallings isn't starting Friday against Washington, Jordan McPherson of the Miami Herald reports.
ImpactThe Marlins seem to be content alternating Stallings and Nick Fortes behind the dish, as they have taken turns starting in the last ten games. This pattern will likely continue until the end of the season, with Fortes getting the nod Friday and batting fourth.
SEPTEMBER 16, 2022ROTOWIRE
Charles Leblanc - Riding pine FridayLeblanc isn't starting Friday's game against the Nationals, Jordan McPherson of the Miami Herald reports.
ImpactAfter starting in five straight games over four days, the rookie infielder will get a day off Friday. Joey Wendle will take over Leblanc's spot at second base while Jordan Groshans picks up a start at third base, batting eighth.
