Trea Turner - Dropped down to five spotTurner is batting fifth for the Phillies in Friday's game against the Nationals, Alex Coffey of The Philadelphia Inquirer reports.
ImpactIt's the first time all season that we've seen Turner hit lower than second. He is entering play Friday sitting on a season-low .648 OPS following a 4-for-29 stretch at the dish. How long this new Phillies lineup -- which features Kyle Schwarber in the leadoff spot -- sticks remains to be seen, but the move isn't great news for Turner's immediate fantasy value.

Kyle Schwarber - Moves up to leadoff spotSchwarber is batting leadoff for the Phillies on Friday versus the Nationals, Alex Coffey of The Philadelphia Inquirer reports.
ImpactManager Rob Thomson is shaking things up in an effort to jump-start a disappointing offense. It's interesting that moving Schwarber up in the batting order is the move, though, considering he's gone 2-for-30 over his last nine games to drop his OPS on the season below .700.

Edmundo Sosa - Sitting FridaySosa isn't starting Friday against the Nationals, Alex Coffey of The Philadelphia Inquirer reports.
ImpactSosa has recorded just one hit -- a home run on Wednesday -- over his last six games and will take a seat to start Friday's contest. Drew Ellis will take Sosa's spot at third base and bat ninth.

Mark Vientos - Starting versus rightyVientos is serving as the designated hitter and batting seventh Friday versus the Blue Jays.
ImpactVientos gets the nod here over Daniel Vogelbach, even with right-hander Chris Bassitt on the mound for Toronto. Maybe it's a sign that the 23-year-old will be in for more of an everyday role with the Mets moving forward. He's primarily been limited to starts against lefties since being recalled May 17 from Triple-A Syracuse.

Daniel Vogelbach - Sitting FridayVogelbach is not in the starting lineup Friday against the Blue Jays.
ImpactVogelbach will take a seat after he went 0-for-4 with two walks a run scored and a strikeout over the three-game series with the Phillies. Mark Vientos will take over at designated hitter and bat seventh versus Toronto.

Cristian Pache - Beginning rehab assignmentPache (knee) will begin a rehab assignment with High-A Jersey Shore on Friday.
ImpactPache has been on the IL since April 29 with a torn meniscus in his right knee and is now entering the final stages of his recovery process. Considering he's been out for over a month, the Phillies could keep him on assignment for an extended period of time to ensure he receives a good amount of at-bats while he ramps up toward the majors.

Darick Hall - Rehab moved to Triple-AThe Phillies transferred Hall's (thumb) rehab assignment to Triple-A Lehigh Valley on Friday.
ImpactHall played in two games at Single-A Clearwater, going 3-for-8 with a double and a walk in the process. He's eligible to return from the 60-day injured list June 5, but it's possible the Phillies keep him in Triple-A past that date to ensure he gets plenty of plate appearances while on assignment. Hall has been sidelined with a torn ligament in his right thumb since April 5.
