Drew Smith - Exits with injurySmith exited Sunday's game against the Phillies in the top of the seventh inning due to an apparent right finger injury, David Lennon of Newsday reports.

ImpactSmith entered Sunday's matchup in the top of the seventh inning and retired the first two batters he faced, but he attempted to barehand a comebacker with two outs and was immediately removed from the game. The severity of his injury isn't yet clear.

Trevor Williams - Back in rotation TuesdayWilliams will start Tuesday's game against the Nationals at Citi Field, Mark Zuckerman of MASNSports.com reports.

ImpactAfter making a spot start May 21 in Colorado, Williams made his most recent appearance out of the bullpen Wednesday in San Francisco. With starter Thomas Szapucki getting tagged for nine earned runs over 1.1 innings before exiting that contest, Williams ended up saving the bullpen by striking out five over 3.2 scoreless frames. He tossed 53 pitches in that outing and should be reasonably stretched out as he slots back into the rotation for what should be a two-start week. Williams' second turn is expected to come next Sunday in Los Angeles against the Dodgers.

David Peterson - Next start coming MondayPeterson is slated to start Monday's game against the Washington at Citi Field, Mark Zuckerman of MASNSports.com reports.

ImpactWith Jacob deGrom (shoulder), Max Scherzer (oblique) and Tylor Megill (biceps) all stuck on injured list for at least another week, Peterson always appeared likely to receive more than one turn through the rotation following his promotion from Triple-A Syracuse on May 23. He passed his first test in a tough road start in San Francisco, limiting the Giants to two runs while striking out six over six innings en route to capturing a win. Peterson will line up for two starts this week, with his second turn scheduled to come next Saturday on the road against the Dodgers.

ImpactMegill landed on the injured list with right biceps tendinitis May 15, but he's made strong progress in his recovery following a brief shutdown. The right-hander will be evaluated for a minor-league rehab start after he faces live hitters, and he expects to need 1-2 rehab starts prior to rejoining the major-league club.
