Rafael Dolis - Likely returning TuesdayThe Blue Jays are expected to activate Dolis (calf) from the 10-day injured list Tuesday, Kaitlyn McGrath of The Athletic reports.
ImpactDolis' strained right calf has checked out fine following a bullpen session and a live batting practice session in recent days, so he looks like he'll be available for the start of the Blue Jays' three-game home series with the Red Sox. Toronto already created an opening on the active roster for Dolis by optioning reliever Nick Allgeyer to Triple-A Buffalo on Monday.

Ryan Borucki - Trending toward brief IL stayBlue Jays general manager Ross Atkins said Sunday that Borucki (forearm) is expected to be on the injured list for the minimum 10 days or close to it, Kaitlyn McGrath of The Athlet...
ImpactBorucki was placed on the IL on Friday with a left forearm strain. According to Atkins, Borucki's injury is to the lower portion of his forearm, which the Blue Jays don't believe will affect his velocity or command when he eventually returns. Borucki had posted a 4.05 ERA, 0.90 WHIP and 14:5 K:BB in 13.1 innings before landing on the IL.

George Springer - Kicks off running progressionBlue Jays general manager Ross Atkins said Sunday that Springer (quadriceps) began a running progression, Kaitlyn McGrath of The Athletic reports.
ImpactAtkins noted that Springer is only in the early stages of his running program, so the 31-year-old's return from the 10-day injured list doesn't appear to be forthcoming. Springer will be slowly built back up to playing a full nine innings in the outfield before the Blue Jays seriously consider activating him, though it's unclear if he'll be sent out on a traditional minor-league rehab assignment in order to achieve that. Springer's ongoing absence will continue to allow Randal Grichuk, Teoscar Hernandez and Lourdes Gurriel to handle everyday roles in the outfield.
