ImpactHill is working his way back after undergoing meniscus surgery in his left knee last fall. The Tigers will no doubt be cautious with him in camp, and it remains to be seen what his role will ultimately be with the team. Hill figures to be no more than a reserve outfielder to begin the season, so his fantasy value is fairly limited at this point.

ImpactKreidler is making a push for an Opening Day roster spot, and grand slams definitely help that cause. The 24-year-old is still probably ticketed for Triple-A Toledo to begin the year, but after slashing .304/.407/.519 in 41 games with the Mud Hens in 2021, he may not be too far away from his MLB debut.

Eduardo Rodríguez - Feels good about sliderRodriguez added a slider toward the end of last season and said he feels "really good with it" to begin 2022, Evan Petzold of the Detroit Free Press reports.
ImpactRodriguez said he started using the pitch during the 2021 postseason with Boston and got comfortable with it. "I was looking for a slider all my career, and I feel like I've finally found one," he added. The lefty is locked in as Detroit's No. 1 starter after joining the Tigers in the offseason, and he could take a step forward if he continues to make strides with his slider. In his second spring start Wednesday, Rodriguez allowed one run over four innings while striking out five.
